As the holiday season approaches, I often find myself thinking about family and traditions. Our family has a holiday tradition that I love and I would like to share it with you. Every year on Christmas morning I get up a little early, I guess you could say I get excited. I warm the oven and place my double chocolate cinnamon buns inside to rise. By the time everyone is rushing out to the tree the house has already begun to fill with the smell of fresh bread, cinnamon and chocolate. Once the buns start to bake the kids and Scott can barely wait for the time to run down. I love this tradition because it slows the pace of Christmas down – we take time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast together.
I will be taking orders up until December 19 for these buns. You can either request a ‘ready to rise’ order that you will bake fresh the morning of your holiday celebration or a ‘fresh baked upon delivery’ that can be delivered up to or on December 24.
